Handel’s youthful and exuberant Dixit Dominus is a choral tour-de-force, virtuosic and supremely exciting from beginning to end. The Great Mass in C minor, Mozart’s sublime setting, packed with choruses and solos of operatic stature is surely one of the most beautiful choral works in the canon.
